![]() ![]() Hell, introduce an 'offline' mode to prevent modded games from going online on for all I care, which then disables the anti cheat or something. What I feel what most people want is just the option to have mods, even if not officially supported by the game. Belzebub is a mod that modify play style to make class more distinct and re add unused quest back to the game but it change a lot of game play that you might not like it. Sure if they had proper support, along with a mod marketplace and all, then people would expect those mods to be safe, which is a hard issue. Reign of Terror is the best D2 mod there is. DevilutionX is an QoL improved mod with minimal gameplay adjustment and bug fixes if you want to get vanilla experience play this one. ![]() The issue I see now is that they explicitly prohibit binary modding/reverse engineering of any kind in their EULA, and have an anti cheat running that I'm guessing might also trigger when you try to mod your SP game.Īs much as I'd love to write (SP) mods for D2R, I don't want to risk getting banned either, so I can totally understand the statement of the PlugY dev.Ĭiting security issues here sounds like a cop-out to me. If people want to mod their SP game, they just have to not work against them (as is currently the case in D2). Lots of time wasted that could be better spent playing the actual game rather that using an archaic way to hold on to loot. Got 7 of them so far in single player and its just a hassle. Hoping someone makes a copy of the PlugY mod. They don't need to support anything as long as we're talking about binary mods. Nice that its indeed possible to mod D2R. ![]() Last updated at 14:00:17 UTC Weekly Help Desk RAGE Loot Thread Trade Thread ![]()
